The clinic's trained staff will help potential patients determine if an evaluation is necessary, which forms of behavioral treatment are needed, and whether medication will likely be beneficial. Research has overwhelmingly demonstrated that greatest improvement in attention problems occurs with the combined use of medication and psychotherapy, both of which are available through the clinic. For each patient seeking treatment through the clinic, CAAP staff develops an individualized treatment package designed to prescriptively target his/her core symptoms and related functional impairments.
